Hello ASPIRA Families,

We hope you are having a wonderful week! Interim report cards for students in grades 2–8 are now available on the Infinite Campus platform. Please take a moment to log in and review your child’s academic progress.

Students in Kindergarten and 1st grade did not receive interim grades this trimester. Instead, they will receive report card grades at the end of each trimester. At these grade levels, teachers focus on observing daily progress, foundational skills, and learning habits over time rather than assigning numerical interim grades. This approach allows teachers to provide a more complete and accurate picture of your child’s learning and growth throughout the year.

Next week, we celebrate our Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week!
This is one of the most meaningful celebrations of our school year because it reflects the roots, traditions, and cultures of many Latin American and Spanish-speaking countries. Here’s our Spirit Week lineup:

⚾ Monday, October 13: Baseball vs. Soccer Day — Rep your favorite team in your favorite baseball or soccer jersey!
🤠 Tuesday, October 14: Cowboy/Cowgirl Day — Wear Western or cowboy-themed clothing to celebrate the contributions of Hispanic and Latine ranchers, farm workers, and farmers.
🌈 Wednesday, October 15: Bright Colors Day — Wear bright and vibrant colors and remember that “Together We Shine!”
🪅 Thursday, October 16: Traditional Day — Wear traditional clothing to highlight your family’s roots.
🎤 Friday, October 17: Dress Like a Legend — Dress up as your favorite Hispanic/Latine music artist or wear their merch to celebrate their legacy!

Let’s come together as a community to celebrate the beauty of our cultures and traditions.

As we continue this trimester, we encourage all students to give their best effort in each class, study hard, and take pride in the beauty of being bilingual learners.

¡Esperamos que estén teniendo una semana maravillosa! Los reportes interinos de calificaciones para los estudiantes de 2.º a 8.º grado ya están disponibles en la plataforma Infinite Campus. Por favor, tómese un momento para ingresar y revisar el progreso académico de su hijo(a).

Los estudiantes de Kindergarten y 1.º grado no reciben calificaciones interinas en este trimestre. En su lugar, recibirán las calificaciones al final de cada trimestre. En estos niveles, los maestros se enfocan en observar el progreso diario, las destrezas fundamentales y los hábitos de aprendizaje a lo largo del tiempo, en lugar de asignar calificaciones numéricas interinas. Este enfoque les permite ofrecer una imagen más completa y precisa del aprendizaje y crecimiento de su hijo(a) durante el año escolar.

¡La próxima semana celebraremos nuestra Semana de Espíritu por la Herencia Hispana!
Esta es una de las celebraciones más importantes del año escolar porque refleja las raíces, tradiciones y culturas de muchos países latinoamericanos e hispanohablantes. A continuación, el calendario de actividades:

⚾ Lunes, 13 de octubre: Día de Béisbol vs. Fútbol — ¡Use la camiseta de su equipo favorito!
🤠 Martes, 14 de octubre: Día de Vaquero/Vaquera — Use ropa estilo vaquero para honrar las contribuciones de rancheros, agricultores y trabajadores del campo hispanos y latinos.
🌈 Miércoles, 15 de octubre: Día de Colores Brillantes — Use ropa colorida y recuerde que “¡Juntos Brillamos!”
🪅 Jueves, 16 de octubre: Día Tradicional — Use ropa tradicional para resaltar las raíces de su familia.
🎤 Viernes, 17 de octubre: Día de “Vístete como una Leyenda” — Vístase como su artista musical hispano/latino favorito o use su mercancía para celebrar su legado.

¡Unámonos como comunidad para celebrar la belleza de nuestras culturas y tradiciones!

Mientras continuamos este trimestre, animamos a todos nuestros estudiantes a dar lo mejor de sí en cada clase, estudiar con esfuerzo y sentirse orgullosos de la belleza de ser estudiantes bilingües.

2nd - 8th Interim Grades Updates:

Students in grades 2nd through 8th have T1 Interim grades available for viewing in the Infinite Campus portal. This grade is an indicator of the progress your child is making through the first trimester. Please take some time to discuss your child's learning and achievement with them./  Los estudiantes de 2.º a 8.º grado tienen disponibles las calificaciones interinas del primer trimestre (T1) para ver en el portal de Infinite Campus. Esta calificación es un indicador del progreso que su hijo(a) está logrando durante el primer trimestre. Por favor, tómense un momento para conversar con su hijo(a) sobre su aprendizaje y sus logros.
