ACHS Updates & Reminders

Welcome Back to School Year 2025/2026!

August 24, 2025

Dear ASPIRA High School Aspirantes and Families,

We are excited to welcome you back for another great school year! Tomorrow begins an important first step in our journey together, and we want to ensure everyone feels prepared and ready.

Important First Week Dates:

  • Monday, August 25 – First day for 9th-grade students only. This will give our freshmen a chance to get to know the building, their teachers, and high school routines.

  • Tuesday, August 26 – All students (grades 9–12) return for the first full day of classes.

Senior Sunrise:

We will also kick off the year with a special tradition for the Class of 2026! Seniors are invited to join us for Senior Sunrise at 6:30 AM on Tuesday, August 26 as we celebrate the beginning of their final year of high school together.

We are looking forward to an amazing school year filled with growth, achievement, and memories. Rest up tonight, charge your devices, and come ready to learn tomorrow!

Reminders:

Key Upcoming Dates

  • First Day of School – Monday, August 25 (9th grade only) | Tuesday, August 26 (All students)

  • Senior Sunrise (Seniors Only) – Tuesday, August 26, 2025, | 6:30 a.m.

  • No School – Friday, August 29, 2025 & Monday, September 1, 2025 (Labor Day)

  • Open House – Wednesday, September 10, 2025

    • Senior Parent Night: 5:45 p.m. (12th graders only)

    • Open House: 6:30 p.m. (All families)

Technology Fee & Chromebooks

Students who paid the $25 non-refundable technology fee by Friday, August 8 will be able to pick up their Chromebooks at this event.

  • Students who did not pay by the deadline will receive Chromebooks after the first day of school.

  • Parents may still make payments at Back to School Night.

Parent Portal Access

We encourage all families to activate their Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

  • First, complete the Annual Contact Verification section.

  • Once completed, you will have full access to student grades, attendance, schedules, and more.

Student Communication Devices

As a reminder, cell phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices may not be used during instructional periods.

School Meals

  • Breakfast and Lunch are provided daily to all students through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).

  • Additional “smart” snacks and ice cream are available for purchase.

  • Please ensure funds are added to your child’s cafeteria account if you plan to allow snack purchases.

School Calendar

  • The main school calendar includes all school wide events.

  • Grade-level calendars highlight specific elementary, middle, or high school events.

  • Download the ASPIRA App for quick access to the calendar and important updates.

Uniform Reminders

Students must comply with the ACHS Uniform Policy every day. Please:

  • Review the updated Uniform Policy in the Code of Conduct carefully (some requirements have changed).

  • Ensure your student has the required uniform items before the first day of school (August 25).

Parent Pick-Up Policy

For the safety of all students:

  • Only the authorized parent/guardian/emergency contact on file may pick up a student-athlete from school or practice fields.

  • Any transportation changes must be made by contacting the Main Office before 1:30 p.m.
